The Institute for Inner Studies, Inc. was incorporated on 27th April 1987 by Master Choa Kok Sui with the aim of spreading Pranic Healing, Arhatic Yoga and esoteric teachings globally.
By early 2000, through the dedicated work of many Pranic Healing instructors, foundations and centers around the world, the Institute for Inner Studies has been able to spread the work and teachings of Grand Master Choa Kok Sui in major cities of over 80 countries, in all the five continents, including US, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Brazil and Mexico. Pranic Healing is a comprehensive energetic technology that enables one to touch the essence of life, known as Prana. Life Energy or Prana is what makes the body alive and healthy. While too much Prana creates congestion and disease, too little Prana also leads to depletion and weakness.
GrandMaster Choa Kok Sui developed a system to remove all the major four problems of humanity being health, wealth, relationships and spiritual emptiness. His advanced technology and meticulous way of introducing the principles and teachings, has made Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga to be practiced by all walks of life, enabling them to bring about more happiness, peace, good health and bliss into their lives.
Up to now, the Institute for Inner Studies Inc. has generated over 100,000 graduates, and carried out many charitable projects with the help of donors and volunteers all around the world.
Pranic Healing has been described as a simple and yet very powerful technology that can be employed with immediate benefits to the patients. It was with this idea in mind that Grand Master Choa Kok Sui decided to bring Pranic Healing to different countries in the world through his two organizations – Institute of Inner Studies and World Pranic Healing Foundation. The World Pranic Healing Foundation was founded on July 23, 1990, with a humble beginning where the office was started with only one table and a chair, shared by about 6 employees. They had to use the stack of Pranic Healing books as their chairs during staff meetings. But what they lacked in logistical support, they more than made up for, in terms of Devotion and will-to-do-good. In its first year alone, the Foundation was able to produce more than 3,000 graduates from seven different regions of the Philippines. Initially funded by Master Choa and the Institute for Inner Studies, Incorporated (IISI), the Foundation eventually attracted other benefactors enabling the organization to continue the work of propagating Pranic Healing throughout the Philippines as well as in other developing countries like Indonesia, India, and parts of Africa and Asia.
To date, the Foundation, in addition to its branch office in India, has been able to help spread Pranic Healing in Indonesia, Bhutan, Nepal, Malaysia, Hongkong, Thailand, Srilanka, Singapore, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Cyprus, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, China, Pakistan, The Gambia, Benin, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Niger, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Senegal, Kenya, Rwanda, Zambia, Tanzania, Mauritius and South Africa. Pranic Healing will continue to expand and spread out in the next few years to more and more countries. The International headquarters of the World Pranic Healing Foundation is now located at 2210 Medical Plaza Ortigas Building, in Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
